Housing is the core foundation in which all stability is built for Transgender Gender Non-Binary Individuals (TGNB). Most Communities of Color have incredible barriers navigating life skills, workforce development, shelters, permanent housing, in addition to having to defend their identity.
TGNB individuals experiencing homelessness, are often ostracized from their families, their homes and are at greater risk of violence both physical, emotional and mental. According to the National Center for Transgender Equality, "TGNB individuals Nationally report an income of less than $10,000 a year.

Life Is Work aims to provide a multi-tiered approach to help during the pandemic. The TGNCNB community of color, are at even greater risk due to vulnerabilities in the community.
